Had a lot of fun drawing this banner for the Swamp Folk Festival. Cause from the beginning, the goal was to create something unpretentious and warm-looking, we immediately thought of using colors and textures that couls keep it simple, with a smooth illumination that feels comforting and kind of funny.
From this briefing, I thought that nothing could look simpler and kinder than a real pencil line and textures, so I went for it. The entire illustration and sketches were made on paper, and after that, the painting was digitally added over it.
